Broomfield Hospital is an acute district general hospital in Chelmsford, Essex. It is managed by the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. It is estimated that Coolnomix® will deliver on average a 20% energy reduction in electricity consumption over a 12 month period. Spread over an AC estate estimated to consist of 100 similar units, the annual benefit of Coolnomix® will be as follows:

Subway comprises several franchises (drive through, restaurants and retail). Coolnomix was installed and connected to ceiling mounted down flow AC units in food preparation, serving and eating areas to reduce kWh consumption and improve their sustainability.

Coolnomix was installed on two air conditioning units in an Avocado Factory in Southern Spain for a trial period of 28 days. Smart meters were connected to the air conditioning units’ system compressor to measure the kWh and readings were downloaded every 30 minutes and analysed as 4-hour data intervals. The units were set to run in weekly cycles of Coolnomix off followed by on.

The pilot confirmed energy savings and CO2 reductions with just one Coolnomix unit attached to an air conditioning unit. Financial savings are based on a trial site electricity supply cost of 0.35p per kWh and the estimated air conditioning and refrigeration estate (100 units) across various Greggs branches.

The pilot trial resulted in energy savings in kWh and CO2 reductions across 4 units. The financial savings are based on a trial site electricity supply cost of 0.25p per kWh. After 1 year, energy reduction and savings forecast (based on 100 Coolnomix units) to be £50,643 and C02 savings of 101,287 kg.

The Pease Pottage service station is the largest services between London and Brighton on the M23. The trial was to identify the potential for reducing carbon emissions and energy consumption, with a view of implementing the Coolnomix intelligent thermostats across the entire portfolio of service stations.

Snap Fitness agreed to a trial on two air conditioning units in the gym and studio. Coolnomix was installed and set up to run in weekly cycles with Coolnomix off, on, off and on over 28 days. Based on the results of the trial, an accurate daily, weekly, monthly and annual forecast of financial, CO2 and cost savings was provided.

Moto Trowell Service station is located off the M1, north of Junction 25, near the city of Nottingham. Inside the service station is a branch of Costa Coffee. The 28-day pilot confirms energy savings and CO2 reductions when using just one Coolnomix unit, allowing accurate annual forecasts across all of the Costa Coffee branches.
